Muller Martini Showcases Innovative Solutions at Print 09 in Chicago (Sep 11 -16, 2009)
Muller Martini presents the latest solutions for finishing and narrow web offset printing for the packaging market in informative live demonstrations at Print 09 in Chicago, USA. Between September 11 and 16, 2009, visitors to stand 1137 will have the opportunity to find out how they can improve their competitiveness with innovative technology.

Primera E140 saddle stitcher
Thanks to its versatility, the new saddle stitcher line from Muller Martini already creates products at a number of printing plants and bookbinding shops across the world with a high level of efficiency. The Primera E140 is extremely flexible and can reach a production speed of 14,000 cycles/hour. It is highly automated and can therefore be set up or changed over in no time at all.

3696 gathering machine
The space-saving 3696 gathering machine will make its US debut at Print 09. This machine processes the widest range of products in its class. It offers very high process reliability and operates at a speed of 12,000 cycles/hour.

Orbit three-knife trimmer
The robust Orbit three-knife trimmer for perfect binding lines will also be introduced to the US market for the first time. It has a reliable cutting speed of 7,200 cycles/hour for products up to 80 mm thick and has a uniquely high degree of automation.

BDC (Book Data Center)
The new BDC technology improves the efficiency of perfect binders, improving productivity in the bookbinding shop at the same time. With BDC, all relevant product data can be read in and transferred directly from the perfect binding line or individual assemblies. The measuring unit was developed for the Acoro, Bolero and Corona perfect binders and can be operated via a touchscreen.
