The new Primera line offers the right solution for any company – from the Primera A110 entry-level model, with 11,000 cycles/hour output and basic range of feeders to the Primera E140 (14,000 cycles/hour) with maximum automation and fully flexible for later expansion. Customers can choose between three levels of automation A, C or E, according to their requirements.

Intelligent Operating Concept
The design of the machine took into account ergonomic principles regarding the height screens, foot space, range of vision and reaching space. The operating concept of the Primera also complies with the latest ergonomic guidelines. Based on a study on height screens, all the operating elements are positioned within easy reach and at the correct angle. This is better for the operator’s health and ensures that the machine is easy to handle with maximum user-friendliness.

The integrated set-up wizard (depending on the level of automation) allows for quick make-ready times and it reaches high net output in record time. The E-version of the Primera is equipped with Amrys, the automatic make ready system. This allows the feeder, the stitcher, the three-knife trimmer and the stacker to be set to the correct size automatically.
Local operating units on all the modules ensure that the operator only needs to cover short distances. All the important functions, such as regulating the production speed or the cycle ratio can be adjusted separately on each feeder.

New Stitching Heads for Record Make-Ready Times
The compact stitching machine uses the new revolutionary Q-stitcher heads (Quick Setup). Thanks to these, make-ready times are lower by 50 percent. It is even possible to use very fine wire with the new stitcher heads (new no. 27 wire, diameter 0.45mm, instead of no. 25 wire, diameter 0.55mm). The sewing quality remains the same and wire requirements are cut by around one third. This reduces costs and is environmentally friendly.

The 459 Three-Knife Trimmer for Perfect Product Quality
The newly designed, extremely robust 459 three-knife trimmer used on the Primera 140 boasts perfect trimming quality and allows an excellent view of the process. The cutting area is clearly visible and easily accessible through the hinged plexiglass hood. Thanks to the optimized trimming movement, the trimming speed has been increased, which has resulted in perfect trimming quality and very long knife life.
