The 3693 Gathering Machine is ideal for use in the medium performance range. It handles the most varied types of paper stocks and signatures in a wide-size range – from small formats up to a spine length of 510 mm (20").
High reliability
Production reliability is guaranteed by the unique signature separation method in the hopper and the synchronized signature acceleration, which is especially beneficial when processing oblong-size and light-weight signatures. Product quality is continuously monitored by the Asac signature thickness-measuring system and the optional Asir optical scanning system.
Short changeover times
The 3693 Gathering Machines ensures convenient operation and loading from either side. Therefore, once production is in progress, it is possible to load signatures from one side of the machine, while the next job is being staged on the other. This shortens changeover time between orders considerably.
