In the higher performance range – that is, for web presses with 48 and more pages – the Preciso rotary trimmer cuts folded, glued or stitched signatures extremely precise and reliably, covering a wide range of formats and sizes. It finishes trimmed products at full press speed, directly in connection with web offset and gravure presses. 
                          
First-Class Trimming Results
With the reliable scissor-cut design, the Preciso trims a shingle thickness from up to 13 mm – at the highest possible trim quality. The segmented knives, made of tungsten carbide, are adapted specifically for the higher performance range. The individual blades can each be sharpened on site 50 times before they have to be replaced.

VibroTec Alignment
A precise, centered shingle stream forms the basis for an exact, square trim. In the Preciso, the square stream is conditioned from below by Muller Martini’s conditioned VibroTec alignment design, with specially made rollers. VibroTec creates a hovering effect, whereby all sizes and page counts can be perfectly and reliably aligned. Even wide products are always uniformly supported, which guarantees consistent trim quality.

Flexible Layout
The Preciso make-ready is very quick and easy. If products do not need to be trimmed, the shingle stream can run straight through the machine without bump turning. Thanks to its compact design, the complete system can be moved on its integrated wheels.

High Degree of Automation
The Preciso rotary trimmer can be optionally equipped with Amrys (Automatic Make-Ready System) with the benefit of even shorter make-ready times. The product sizes can then be preset, stored and recalled as needed.

Double level model Preciso DS
The double level model of the Preciso rotary trimmer primarily increases flexibility in press delivery - with less space required. It is based on proven Preciso technology and combines two rotary trimmers on a minimal surface. The double level model can be used inline with a press with two deliveries or with two presses, each with one folder delivery. Two shingle streams can be processed independently of each other. The Preciso DS also fulfills every function as an offline machine. All of the performance characteristics of the Preciso are also available in the double level model.
