There was a great turnout at the Arcángel Maggio printing house in Buenos Aires as President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner inaugurated the Primera C140 saddle stitcher.
“With the Primera C140, we are heralding a new era in our company,” says Sebastián Maggio. “We believe Argentina has enormous potential, particularly in printing school textbooks. We want to invest further in this area.”
In a fiercely competitive market, it is particularly important for Arcángel Maggio to stand out from its competitors. Drawing on excellent experiences with the Primera C140 saddle stitcher, the publishing house chose an additional machine from Muller Martini, namely an Acoro perfect binder.
Sebastián Maggio is the grandson of the company’s founder, Don Arcángel, who emigrated from Italy to Argentina in 1928 and founded a small printing house. Today, Arcángel Maggio with its 280 employees is one of the most important printing houses in the country. Since its founding, the company has focused on advanced technology and the highest quality, garnering numerous innovation and quality awards for its products.
