“It was very clear that the visitors to our stand in Mexico City are once again looking ahead with optimism”, explains Hector Castro, Managing Director of Muller Martini Mexico, summarizing the four-day appearance at the trade fair. “They are motivated and looking for new technical solutions – a clear sign that the local market has recovered.”
Large crowds check out the Ventura MC book sewing machine at the Muller Martini stand at Expografica 2011 in Mexico City.
The highlight of the well-attended Muller Martini stand was the Ventura MC book sewing machine, which was being presented in Mexico for the first time and was sold to our long-standing customer INFAGON. The visitors who gathered to take a look were impressed by its large size range and the potential for two-up production. Using the Ventura MC, a huge variety of signature types can be produced at optimum speed, and in the very best stitching quality. Presenting the machine in these ideal surroundings resulted in another two contracts being signed at the exhibition stand. Hector Castro is also celebrating another contract: “We've just signed a contract with a new customer in the Golf of Mexico area for a Presto A90 stitcher, an Amigo EVA perfect binder and a 1571 gathering machine with criss-cross function.”
A folding machine from MBO America was also showcased successfully. The complete MBO America product range has been available from Muller Martini Mexico since 2008. This presentation helped to sell another three folding machines and one special solution during the trade fair. With a total of 15,000 visitors, Expografica 2011 sent an extremely positive message to the graphic arts industry in Mexico.
