The new Preciso DS increases flexibility in the press delivery but nevertheless requires less space. It is based on the proven Preciso technology and combines two rotary trimmers in the space normally needed for one. All the performance characteristics of the Preciso are available in the double level model:

• first class trimming results thanks to the reliable scissor-cut principle and segmented tungsten carbide knives
• precise, centered shingle stream thanks to VibroTec alignment
• high degree of automation thanks to the Automatic Make Ready System (Amrys)
• flexible integration in the finishing process

Needs much less space for the same output: the double level model of the high-performance Preciso rotary trimmer.

For gravure and web offset products
The double level model of the Preciso DS is particularly suitable for finishing gravure and web offset products. It can be used in-line with a press with two deliveries or with two presses, each with one folder delivery, processing two shingle streams independently of each other. The Preciso DS also fulfills every function as an offline machine. It processes sizes up to 540 mm x 500 mm. Depending on the design, the products can be delivered to the left or to the right.

Simple operation
The Preciso DS is controlled using a central control unit and is very easy to operate. It is equipped with Amrys on all the adjustable axes and has a job management system. The production parameters can therefore be preset, stored, and retrieved as needed. The automatic Amrys presetting system considerably reduces the changeover times.

The Preciso DS is easy to integrate in the higher-level MACOS (Master Control System). MACOS visualizes the complete press delivery system graphically and is used as an interface to the press and the press delivery equipment. Optionally, MACOS can be used to connect the machine to the in-house network, for example with a workflow controller according to the CIP4 standard (JDF/JMF).
