Welcome to Muller Martini
Muller Martini Establishes a Milestone in Perfect Binding: PUR Production at 18,000 Cycles/Hour!
Muller Martini presents a world premiere at its drupa stand: For the first time, softcover products are produced on a perfect binder with the PUR method at 18,000 cycles/hour. This represents virtually twice as much as the maximum achieved in practice up until now.

Muller Martini establishes this milestone in the history of perfect binding using the high-performance Corona line. This record-breaking productivity improvement in PUR production is made possible through the use of the VPN book spine nozzle. This nozzle technology, presented two years ago by Muller Martini for the first time at an exhibition and whose sophisticated design is used in a broad range of perfect binding applications, makes this technological quantum leap possible for the Corona.

“With this, Muller Martini demonstrates its market leadership in a dual sense.” says Stefan Zürcher, marketing manager at Muller Martini bookbinding systems in Felben, Switzerland: “In high-performance perfect binding in general, and in PUR processing in particular.”

The VPN book spine nozzle makes PUR production on the Muller Martini Corona perfect binder possible at 18,000 cycles per hour.
