How to Get to drupa

By Air
Düsseldorf International Airport offers ideal direct connections to 180 destinations in 50 countries on four continents. The cutting-edge airport, including a new terminal building, is served by a total of 77 airlines. With 625 take-offs and landings per day, Düsseldorf International Airport ranks as one of the region’s key transportation hubs.

The airport is located just three kilometers from the exhibition center. Bus number 896 or a taxi will take you to our exhibition center in a matter of minutes. You can also reach the city center and your hotel quickly and easily from the airport.

By Car
Via the new Rhine Bridge on the extended A44 Autobahn (Federal Expressway) approx. 20 minutes from* Mönchengladbach, approx. 15 minutes from Neuss, approx. 15 minutes from Krefeld, approx. 25 minutes from Moers, approx. 45 minutes from Kleve, approx. 40 minutes from Venlo (Netherlands), approx. 45 minutes from Roermond (Netherlands) (each driving estimate is made from the time of driving onto the Autobahn to arriving at the exhibition center’s parking lot P1 in average traffic and at the recommended speed).

North-Rhine Westphalia has a excellent expressway network, allowing you to reach Düsseldorf and the exhibition center quickly. The clear signposting to the exhibition center will guide you directly to the two large parking lots P1 and P2. From there the free shuttle (bus shuttle 897) will take you to the entrances of the exhibition center.

By Train

Taking a Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) train is an environmentally friendly, inexpensive and relaxing way of getting to the trade fair city of Düsseldorf. The main train station at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz is right in the city center and is one of Europe’s most modern train stations.
During the trade fair, buses and subway trams run between the train station and the exhibition center at frequent intervals. The trip by subway tram lines U78 and U79 takes approximately 15 minutes.

By Public Transport in Düsseldorf

The subway tram lines U 78 und U 79 and bus 722 will bring you to the exhibition center. Line U 78 stops close to the East entrance and directly by the North entrance and line U79 stops close to the East entrance. At the Stockumer Kirchstrasse / Messe Ost stops, you can change to bus 722, which will take you to the East entrance, the trade fair administration tower and the South entrance.

During many trade fair events, the local train service, Rheinbahn, offers a special shuttle service by bus 896 from Düsseldorf International Airport to the exhibition center. For more information go to http://www.rheinbahn.de/
