The new Pantera adhesive binder produces top quality adhesive-bound products.

With the Pantera adhesive binder, several binding processes can now be flexibly implemented in the performance range of up to 4,000 cycles per hour. In addition to conventional hotmelt binding, PUR can now also be processed. This is a great advantage, because PUR binding is becoming more and more popular...even in the middle performance range.

Open Glue Application System
High binding quality is ensured thanks to monitoring of the glue temperature and of the glue level in the specially coated two-roller glue pot. The open glue application system is especially simple to handle. Retractable glue trolleys make rapid glue changes easier during production changeovers. As an alternative to the traditional two-roller spine glue pot, a closed glue application system with nozzle can be used for PUR on the Pantera.

Compared to its predecessor model, the Tigra, the Pantera features a wider range of sizes. This enables the broadest range of jobs to be produced. In addition, with its compact design the Pantera adhesive binder also provides for plenty of flexibility in tight spaces. And, thanks to the shaftless drive, adhesive binders and gathering machines can also be used separately for different jobs.

Setup Assistant Companion
The Pantera is easy to operate, via a touchscreen monitor. The menu is clear and conveniently laid out. The interactive setup assistant companion supports the operator, even with manual adjustments. The settings for all stations are displayed for the current production. The setup assistant companion supports the following tasks:

• Saving and loading of repeat jobs
• Display of production data and settings
• Monitoring of glue pot and spinner temperature
• Automatic glue length control for spine and side gluing

The Pantera can be equipped with the AMRYS (Automatic MakeReady System), in the future – shortening setup and makeready times even more.
