Selective inserting into preprinted sections
Automated and copy-specific zoning, uninterrupted zone changes and the capability of running simultaneously parallel zones allow the production of reader-oriented newspapers in the range of 48,000 copies per hour in single mode or 90,000 copies per hour in double mode. Preinserting increases the number of inserts, which can be processed, and enables selective inserting into preprinted sections. In addition, night production can be automated by shifting the inserting process to daytime operations.

Promo infeed station extends range of inserted products
Selective inserting of advertising supplements and preprints makes customized newspaper configuration possible. The range of inserted products can be considerably extended by adding Promo infeed stations to the NewsLiner-A Inserting System. With these infeed stations, CD-ROMs, photo wallets, booklets, merchandise samples, coupons, and other types of products can be inserted into newspapers efficiently.
