The operator places the signature against the stop and moves the measuring head so that the measuring device, which is designed according to ergonomic principles, can read in the spine length, signature width and thickness of the product to be stitched. After every measuring operation the values are automatically shown in millimeters on the display. These can then be acknowledged or altered and saved.
