Since there are many changeovers at Alfabase during a typical production day, Alfabase Managing Director Kees Funcke was especially interested in the highly automated Primera version E. With this, settings and changeovers can be done very quickly, and a connection with digital workflow is also easy to arrange.
Alfabase, part of the worldwide active Sheridan Group, has already been producing since 1980 with an extremely reliable 335 saddle stitcher from Muller Martini. Hence the Swiss manufacturer was a favorite already as assessments were being made regarding the replacement of the old saddle stitcher. The many years of prosperous collaboration with Muller Martini and the great know-how of the company were decisive factors in the decision. Another thing that was very important for Kees Funcke: “I find the new color Laserblue very attractive.”
Concluded contract signing (from the right): Kees Funcke, Managing Director of Alfabase, Bo Sörelid, Managing Director of Muller Martini Netherlands, Gerard Korving from the partner printing house Krips, Hans Kleijn, Business Unit Manager of Alfabase and Henk Balder, Product Manager of Muller Martini Netherlands, toast to the new Primera E140 saddle stitcher.
