The new ProLiner inserting system from Muller Martini stands for efficiency, simple adjustments and high processing reliability.
The ProLiner inserting system is characterized by its compact design and a simple, modular construction. It offers the user a high degree of investment security and can be expanded accordingly for changing production needs. The new system is based on the proven linear inserting process, stands for high processing security and consequently also guarantees high productivity. The products are securely held and opened in the inserting pockets with the help of four grippers. The newspaper is reliably held in place, allowing even thin tabloid products to be processed efficiently and completed with inserts. The format size of the pockets can be adjusted centrally.
The newspaper products can be loaded automatically via gripper chain or shingle stream conveyors directly from the press or automatically via FlexiRoll, according to the requirements. The efficient processing of a variety of different products is secured by a new generation of feeders, which can be changed over in the shortest possible time in case of a supplement change. This saves time and increases the availability of the ProLiner. The related chances for finer segmentation open up the possibility for new sources of revenue. Missing copy and double signature detectors are standard in Muller Martini inserting machines. This ensures the quality of the newspaper product, in the interest of the reader.
The new ProLiner inserting system can be expanded to up to 30 feeders. Each individual feeder can be activated as needed, accurate to the copy. Semi-automatic loading with streamfeeders or fully automatic loading with FlexiRoll reduces manual handling and significantly increases the efficiency of the system.
