Muller Martini Apprentice is World Runner-up in Mechatronics Skills Competition in Finland
Muller Martini apprentice Raphael Ruf, together with his partner Timon Achtnich (from msw-Winterthur), won the silver medal in the mechatronics skills category at the 38th WorldSkills competition, which took place May 26 to 29, 2005 in the Finnish capital of Helsinki. The world champion, out of a field of 26 competitors from the entire world, was a team from Japan.

With Raphael Ruf’s second place win, Muller Martini achieved its third medal, in only its third WorldSkills competition. Stefan Vogel won silver in 1999 and Bruno Lüscher was world champion in 2001. Another world-class performance by a Muller Martini apprentice underscores the quality of the apprenticeship training at Muller Martini and the emphasis that the company puts on excellence in its professional training programs.
