Splitting Saw 3502 – Turnover Belt 3506

Two-up production considerably increases the capacity of a perfect binding line. In order to be able to take full advantage of this process, the book binder needs reliable equipment which carries out the additional splitting process safely and with a high output.

Splitting Saw 3502
The Splitting Saw 3502 trims perfect bound products with the utmost precision. Therefore the subsequent three-knife trimmer can be set up easily and operated reliably. Thanks to full automation the splitting saw can be quickly changed over without the use of tools. The siliconization of the saw blade guarantees a long blade life resulting in lower maintenance costs.

Turnover Belt 3506
If the turnover belt is directly built onto the Splitting Saw 3502, all the format settings, as well as the changeover from turnover mode to continuous mode, are fully automated. Therefore two-ups with head-to-head or head-to-foot alignment can be easily produced. It also comes with two individual belt drives, which position the products independent of each other on the delivery conveyor.

Easy to Operate
Using the touch screen, the Splitting Saw and Turnover Belt can be simply changed over. Format changes are carried out without the need for tools thanks to full automation. A further advantage: data from repeat jobs can be saved and recalled quickly. In addition, JDF data can be taken from a superior control system.
