For a clear and centralized operation of the hardcover manufacturing machines, Müller Martini offers the Tele-Commander for the Diamant bookline and now, as the latest development in this product family, also for the Collibri. Giving the operator a perfect overview of all processes, the visualization on the touch screen makes his job easier.

On the Tele-Commander of the Collibri, the operator controls the machines of the backgluing area – clearly and easily.	Bookblock, book case and jacket are measured in at the operating desk of the Diamant, then the formats are automatically forwarded to the Tele-Commander.

On the new Collibri Tele-Commander, the operator controls the Collibri back gluing machine, the endsheet feeder VBA as well as the bookblock pressing machines RPM, RPM/GPM and TPM. With the Tele-Commander of the Diamant it is possible to control not only the bookline but also the Merit three-knife-trimmer, the Ribbon inserting machine, the BLSD book stacker as well as the Vesta jacketing machine at the same time. With one tap of a key, all integrated machines can be launched.

Thanks to the plain 3-D drawings on the screen the operator can survey the current operating states at a glance. All production parameters are displayed and can be changed by touch on the screen. Since all integrated machines are CIP4-compatible, the operating data can be automatically captured and read out. For repeat orders, the user can quickly call up the stored data including all of the fine adjustment details which have been made. The orders can be stored directly on the Tele-Commander, also an external storing of the production data over a USB connection is possible.
