The RPM Spine Pressing Machine is installed prior to or after the backgluing machine. Its heart is the unique roller pressing system comprised of three pairs of pressing rollers which accurately compress the spine area of the book block. The pressure greatly reduces spine buildup on the book block.

The RPM handles all types of paper stocks and book blocks. The format setting is automatically adjusted when the Collibri backgluing machine is set up. Fine adjustments can be made on the control panel while the machine is running production.
