The Diamant MC 35 shortrun version suits best for short-run book manufacturers and hardcover start-up companies. With this machine up to 2100 books can be produced per hour. Thanks to its identical design, the Diamant MC 35 produces the same book quality as the Diamant MC 60.
Wide format range
Oblong format books can be produced on the Diamant MC 35, as indeed can books only seven millimeters thick or large format books, because it covers exactly the same size range as the Diamant MC 60. The most varied book shapes are possible, as it can also be equipped with all Diamant options. The production of books with flexible covers and flaps for example is possible.
Constantly high product quality
Of course, the Diamant MC 35 still delivers the high book quality for which the Diamant range is known. Infra-red preheating, rounding, smashing, lining, casing in – everything takes place with the same quality-assuring processes as the Diamant MC 60. With the new shortrun bookline, the duration of the grooving of the joint and pressing procedures at top speed takes at least five seconds, but still with the proven, interruption-free pressing method. Using a quick, user-friendly touchscreen, the operator can carry out changeovers just like on the Diamant MC 60. And if necessary the Diamant MC 35 can be put into operation at 60 cycles per minute.
