Apila Palletizing System

The fully automatic Apila palletizing system can be used anywhere to process loose, blocked, wrapped or strapped bundles. It can be used inline or offline in the press delivery or for finishing in the area of saddle stitching. The system can process a wide range of product sizes flexibly and with high process reliability and can provide first class stable pallets.

Flexible application
The Apila palletizing system is highly automated and can be used as a single cell system with one robot or as a double cell system with two robots. The robot is equipped with a double gripper, which can process two bundles simultaneously. The gripper has fully automatic size set-up. This means that no manual work is required to change sizes through out the entire size range. The Apila is equipped with a pallet dispenser for a maximum of twelve pallets and an automatic cardboard insert. The ingenious pallet logistics ensure precise pallet feeding.

Simple operation
A touchscreen means that operation of the Apila palletizing system is really simple. The user-friendly menu navigation of the control system simplifies the entry of production parameters such as the layout of the bundle layers.

Integrated job management
The integrated job management system allows entry and saving of all the production parameters. They are then available immediately. Optionally, the Apila palletizing system can be integrated in higher level plant or line control systems. A connection to the in-house network is possible, for example with a workflow controller according to the CIP4 standard (JDF/JMF).
