TRAINING ! , "WHY BOTHER"? "I can't justify the cost."
Unfortunately an all too familiar statement.Consider this………….
It is not a coincidence that Michael Schumacher had so much success over the years; it was a combination of the best machine, the best support crew and the best operator, a recipe which existed over a long period and continually gave Ferrari an edge over its main rivals.
Had Mr Schumacher driven for Minardi and Christijan Albers driven for Ferrari then the history of Formula 1 would have been totally different. It would be Ferrari’s main rivals celebrating many world championships instead.

Muller Martini can provide you with the best machine and the best support crew, but the rest is down to you. However we can provide the tools to turn “adequate” operators into “first class” operators.
TRAINING - WHAT IT CAN DO FOR YOU
- Greater productivity
- Higher running speeds
- Faster makeready and changeover
- The best possible product quality for every job
- Greater profitability
Training is an investment, an investment in people, because even the best equipment is only as good and effective as its operator. Training is an investment that pays for itself.
Fully trained operators, who have studied the equipment inside and out, are real assets to their companies.
Most of us agree that in terms of efficient productivity training is the key. It is an area of industry that has been long abandoned in some sectors. Printing and finishing is no exception, but there are green shoots showing through.
Muller Martini is delighted to announce that in August 2004 we started a new training facility based at our head office in Iver, Buckinghamshire. We are currently running courses on two levels of saddle stitcher and can therefore provide operator training on Presto, Bravo Plus, Prima Plus, Bravo Plus Amrys and Prima Plus Amrys.
For other models of saddle stitcher, including older machines, we can provide training on site as an alternative. This will include the following models; Tempo, Valore, Prima, Bravo, 301, 300, 335, 321 & 1509.
All our training courses in Iver and on site can be tailored to suit specific requirements. Our operator courses are split into three levels (beginner, standard and advanced). This ensures that personnel attending one of these courses are working at a level that allows them to learn the relevant information and gain the necessary experience without stretching their existing capabilities to a point of confusion and disillusionment. It of course also provides a platform for extending the knowledge base of operators to a higher level as they become comfortable with the standard they currently operate at.
On site training is of course not limited to saddle stitchers and can cover the whole range of Muller Martini equipment, both new and old.
We can of course, as we have done for many years, provide training courses at our factories in Zofingen, Felben, Maulburg, VBF and Horauf. These offer an excellent opportunity for operator, mechanical and electrical training on the latest range of equipment.
