Muller Martini will be hosting an innovative Open House event in Iver this Spring, from Wednesday 28th March to Saturday 31st March, demonstrating recent technical advances with a wide range of equipment, including several saddle stitchers and a perfect binder.
The stitchers on show will include our flagship PrimaPlus with AMRYS (Automatic Makeready System). In a bold move, we will be demonstrating, for the first time, a wireless link between the Prima stitcher and the Tharsten MIS system, (fully JDF compatible) which allows real-time performance to be monitored from anywhere within wireless range.
Managers will be able to check what's going on from wherever they are. This new technology opens up tremendous possibilities for improving overall manufacturing efficiency, which in turn of course improves the bottom line, something that everyone in the print industry is having to look to at the moment.
We will also be demonstrating an A4 product crammed with technical difficulties such as 6pp z-folds, cards with tiny 50mm guard, a floating card and a particularly lightweight (100gsm) cover (not pre-creased).
The other stitchers on show will be the 9,000 cph Presto, the new 11,000 cph BravoPlus T and there will also be the opportunity to see our smallest perfect binder, the AmigoPlus.
The Open House will run into the evening on Thursday 29th, staying open until 9.00pm and will continue on the morning of Saturday 31st, for hard-working printers who cannot get away at any other times. The longer opening times are an experiment for us but if it proves popular, we will consider it for future events.
Lunch will be provided every day, and there is plenty of car parking space at our Iver HQ which is close to the M4/M25 junction. For further information on the product to be demonstrated please download the associated pdf document and to register please click on the link or call 0845 345 3588.
