Integrated Bundle Building with FlexPack

The FlexPack bundle building system combines many processes into one compact machine, from stacking, feeding and labeling bottom sheets, through printing and applying cover pages all the way to strapping the bundles together.

FlexPack plays to its strength precisely whenever a high number of inserts needs to be processed. All product movements leading up to the bundle building are reduced to a minimum. Due to the cycled transfer from the conveyors into the FlexPack system, each newspaper is collected individually and gently removed from the system in a controlled manner. This simplifies stacking and guarantees smooth production due to copy-specific counts. The stacks are pressed together and strapped twice in one single operation. The compacted stacks can then be commissioned, palletized or directly distributed using a ramp system according to the address label.
