The Bundle Blocking Unit 0457 simplifies the transport of product bundles and blocks them for optimal print finishing. The unit blocks the bundles through a controlled, electrostatic charge and pressing. This procedure avoids the use of a strapping machine and, consequently, costs for strapping material.

High Compressing Force
A sophisticated pneumatic cylinder and sturdy construction ensure constantly high compressing forces. Before being blocked, the bundles are precisely stopped and gently aligned.

Wide Range of Sizes
The Bundle Blocking Unit 0457 is designed to process a wide range of sizes and products even in two-up or three-up production. The size kits on the pressing pad can be changed in no time and without tools.

Intelligent Control Unit
The control unit allows extremely short cycle times. The backlash distance of the pressing pad can be minimized depending on the maximum expected stack height.

All settings, including ionization output, are performed through a standardized HMI, accessible from both sides of the machine. Due to automatic size set-up with Amrys, data are automatically transferred from the saddle stitcher or perfect binder to the unit.
