(Washington, DC, 4/12/08) - In a move that encapsulated the essence of the NAA’s annual NEXPO Conference, Muller Martini Mailroom Systems, Inc. (MMMS) and the Naples Daily News, a Scripps Newspaper, finalized their major purchase agreement with a contract signing at MMMS’ booth, which was completed with a champagne toast.
The Naples Daily News agreed to terms on (2) SLS High-Speed Inserters [(1) 32:2 and (1) 22:2] including (2) NewsGrip-A conveyor systems, (2) Press-to-Hopper online systems and (18) AF300 Hopper Loaders. In addition, the newspaper agreed to implement SAM Plans, a comprehensive production planning system.
Tom Sewall, Director of Operations for the Naples Daily News stated, “The Naples Daily News is excited and pleased with our partnership with Muller Martini Mailroom Systems, Inc. We made our selection of the new Muller Martini technology based on how it will meet the current and future needs of our paper.”
