Welcome to Muller Martini USA
Revenue-driven solutions for a changing industry
Many of Muller Martini’s U.S. clients are heading to drupa.

The leading international fair for the print media industry has been at the forefront in premiering new products and technologies.

Throughout its 50-plus year history, drupa has welcomed a global audience eager to experience an extensive range of products and services encompassing every stage of production, from premedia to print to finishing. And, it’s been a hallmark of innovation, previewing the visions, products and processes that help drive the industry’s future.

As such, it’s no wonder that more than 100 of Muller Martini’s U.S. clients will travel to drupa to get a first-hand look at the latest opportunities in print, many of which are championed by Muller Martini.

In fact, drupa has long served as a launching pad for Muller’s innovation in both the print and finishing arenas. In 2004, we unveiled SigmaLine, a revolutionary breakthrough in digital book production. The technology enabled fully automated production in a single work process, from the roll right up to the finished book. At the 2008 drupa, Muller showcased its Primera platform of saddle stitchers, whose automation elevated print finishing efficiency and versatility to a higher level. The Orbit 3 Knife Trimmer was also introduced in 2008. The Orbit’s full automation and innovative “Smart Press” technology provided rapid set-ups and a high net output combined with impeccable trimming quality. Today, these machines continue to help binderies thrive by meeting customer expectations and demands.

At drupa 2012, held in Dusseldorf May 3-16th, Muller Martini will present the latest machinery from all of its business divisions, including variable size web-offset printing presses, saddle stitchers, perfect binders, hardcover systems, newspaper mailroom systems, as well as “crossover” systems for digital book production. Located in Hall 14, Booth C21, Muller’s 22,000-plus square-foot exhibit will feature extensive product demonstrations, including the VSOP web offset printing press which provides a distinct competitive advantage in package printing.

The last drupa attracted over 390,000 professionals from 138 countries. And, it appears that this year’s show is headed for impressive numbers as well. Commented Carrington Herbert, MMUS National Sales Director, “It looks like 2012 will be a record year for visitors to drupa. Many of our clients have shared with us that in order to stay competitive in their market, they need to be at the forefront of innovative technology that enables them to complement traditional processes with digital manufacturing solutions. And that starts with a trip to drupa.”
