One solutions-driven saddle stitcher demands another

Motivating Graphics’ second Muller Martini BravoPlus T installation keeps pace with production demands while eliminating costly overtime

Muller Martini’s BravoPlus T saddle stitcher can handle a wide range of sizes, which is one of the key reasons why Motivating Graphics, Inc., headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, recently installed their second one.  Its high-tech communications client base depends on them to be their one-stop source for a variety of printing and manufacturing needs, including technical manuals, CD replication and product packaging.

The new BravoPlus T equips Motivating Graphics with a total of three saddle stitchers.  “We’re now able to keep up with production needs without incurring overtime.  We chose our second Bravo because of our familiarity, its simplicity, and speed,” explained Kevin Hindbaugh, Bindery Manager.  “The Bravo’s touchscreen operation makes it extremely easy and convenient to operate.  And it’s fast.  It can produce products at up to 11,000 cph.”

What’s more, the BravoPlus T touchscreen allows production to be controlled and monitored centrally, leading to optimal production reliability and high net output.  And, its short changeover times enable the efficient production of high quality products.  All folded signature types are processed into impeccably stitched and trimmed brochures.  Thanks to flexible layout design, the BravoPlus T can be individually adapted for many different needs.

In addition, the BravoPlus T is JDF capable and can be integrated into the digital workflow;  Connection to MIS is possible.  When the BravoPlus T is equipped with partial AMRYS (Automatic Make-Ready System), the stitcher and three-knife trimmer can be automatically adjusted to the correct format.

The selection of a second BravoPlus T at Motivating Graphics went beyond the compelling merits of the machinery.  “Muller Martini has always worked with our company to meet our customer demands by recommending the most effective perfect binding and saddle stitching needs.  And Muller has assisted us significantly in automating our processes,” commented Mr. Hindbaugh.  “We depend on them not just for the quality and innovation of their equipment, but for their market expertise and on-going technical support.”
