During Print ’05, Muller Martini to demonstrate automation and inkjetting capabilities of BravoPlus stitcher at FASTech booth

Hauppauge, New York – The Muller Martini BravoPlus saddle stitcher delivers unmatched automation in the mid-range class, and at Print ’05, show visitors can see for themselves how the BravoPlus can mean enhanced speed, productivity and efficiency for their businesses.

Muller Martini will be partnering at the show with FASTech (FASTechnology Group), one of the industry’s most innovative full-service systems engineering and electrical manufacturing companies specializing in solutions for the bindery and mailing marketplaces. During Print ’05, the BravoPlus stitcher will be demonstrated live at the FASTech booth #4286. As part of the demonstration, the inside and outside inkjetting capabilities of BravoPlus will be shown to the entire industry for the first time.

The impressively fast and user-friendly Muller Martini BravoPlus saddle stitcher can produce product at 13,000 c/hr., providing maximum uptime and exceptional net output. When equipped with AMRYS (Automatic MakeReady System) technology, BravoPlus offers convenient and highly efficient computer-aided makeready and changeover, enabling rapid set-ups and allowing the machine to be customized in moments to meet changing job requirements. In fact, due to its technological superiority, the BravoPlus can reduce the time needed for makeready by up to 50%.

Other key features include variable feeding with a choice of feeder options (flat pile feeder, vertical pile feeder, stream feeder, card & cover folder feeder, and merchandise & card gluers). Top-quality production on the BravoPlus is also closely controlled through selectable options that include: copy control, ASIR3 (automatic signature image recognition), lateral thickness measurement by side caliper, oblique sheet monitor, thickness measurement by ridge caliper, stitch monitor, trim monitor, and sequential on/off.

Visitors to Print ’05 are invited to stop by the FASTech booth to see the BravoPlus saddle stitcher in action. Furthermore, show attendees are urged to visit the Muller Martini exhibit (booth #4018, McCormick Place South Building) for complete information about the diverse features and advantages of the BravoPlus stitcher.

Print ’05 is the largest exhibition in the US of equipment, supplies and services for commercial printing, package printing and converting. Print ’05 takes place from September 9-15, 2005 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
