Muller Martini to present latest hardcover technology at open house in Bad Mergentheim, Germany

New ZFM stack loading hopper for the Ventura book sewing machine and the new Diamant 35 bookline among innovations to be highlighted

On November 5th and 6th, 2007, Muller Martini, manufacturer of the world’s most advanced hardcover book production equipment and provider of state-of-the-art workflow solutions, will present its newest innovations along with enhancements to existing machines at an open house to be held in Bad Mergentheim, Germany.  The theme of the open house is “Perfection down to the last detail.”

The new ZFM stack loading hopper for the Ventura book sewing machine will be presented, as will the new full-surface press GPM in combination with the RPM spine pressing machine, the VBA endsheet feeder, and the Ribbon register ribbon inserting machine. Also presented will be the new Diamant 35 bookline. The short-run Diamant 35 delivers 16 percent more output than its predecessor, the Diamant 30.

Two demonstrations per day will showcase the efficiency of these machines, as well as their ease of operation and their rapid changeover times. Visitors will be able to watch how books of the highest quality can be produced utilizing a complete hardcover production system featuring the new Diamant 35 bookline for short runs and also the Diamant 60 for longer runs. Visitors to the event can also view cost-effective book block production on the VenturaConnect combination stitching system.

Interested parties can register to visit the Open House by contacting their Muller Martini representative.
