Tempo 22 Saddle Stitcher

The Tempo 22 Saddle Stitcher is a field-proven production system for efficient multishift operations. Proven technology has been further developed to guarantee high net outputs for large runs of magazines, leaflets and catalogs. A sophisticated control system with operating data collection, a job management system and JDF integration ensures efficient production.

The Tempo 22 stands out thanks to

  • high net output
  • high level of availability
  • flexible expansion option
  • MMAP control platform
  • ease of operation
  • JDF compatibility (as per CIP4 standard)

Individual feeder designs
The consistently modular design brings a high degree of flexibility and allows virtually unlimited expansion with flat pile feeders, vertical stack feeders, sample gluer, folder feeder and cardblower.

Accelerating rollers
To support reliable production at high speeds, the feeder can be fitted with newly developed accelerating rollers. They accelerate the signature horizontally to 50 percent of the chain speed when placing it on the gathering chain, which means they are accelerated carefully and securely on the gathering chain.

Automation Platform
The Tempo 22 is equipped with the MMAP control platform (Muller Martini Automation Platform). This enables a quick overview of the entire production sequence. The easy operating concept allows fast job setup and changeover times. JDF integration according to the CIP4 standard is also possible as an option.

Automatic Presetting
Thanks to automation of the most important axes and the ability to save job data for repeat jobs, the Tempo 22 saddle stitcher is ready to go in no time...resulting in cost-effective production of your jobs. The size input automatically synchronizes the feeders, the stitching machine and subsequent machines. In the three-knife trimmer, the infeed, product width and product thickness are automatically preset.
