Alprinta Web Offset Press

The Alprinta web offset press has been developed for the production of high-quality commercial work and direct mail, as well as for flexible packaging materials and labels. With its maximum speed of 457 m/min (1,500 ft/min) the Alprinta is also an ideal press for larger production runs and products to be delivered in sheets, rolls, as signatures, or as fan-fold.

Key advantages

  • Printing unit for highest quality
  • Easy-to-use ink remote control
  • Short make-ready time and minimum waste thanks to Make-Ready-System
  • High production speed up to 1,500 ft/min
  • Two types for web widths of 20 1/2" and 29 1/8"
  • Modular design (also for extensions)
  • Up to 12 printing units
  • Variable-format offset module

Widest variety of products
The application possibilities of the new Alprinta are nearly limitless. Commercial products and mailings are printed in the highest quality. Even self-adhesive labels on backing material and bottle labels made of paper or plastic foils can be produced with in-line finishing, punching, die cutting, perforating, cross-cutting and stacking ... in one pass.

Innovative printing unit
Superior print quality, simple operation, and high productivity are some of the outstanding advantages of the new Alprinta printing unit. The 14-roller high-performance ink train and four ink form rollers achieve outstanding ink coverage at all speeds. The optimized ink flow and the use of four form rollers ensure high print quality even at maximum machine speeds.

New: with variable-format offset module
Commercial print quality makes this technologically-advanced press from Muller Martini suitable for a wide range of applications. In addition to fixed format inserts, Alprinta can also be equipped with a size-variable insert system. Format-dependent parts (plate and blanket cylinder made of laminated materials) can be exchanged in less than five minutes without tools ... giving the Alprinta format diversity that was previously only known to flexo and rotogravure printing.

Innovative ink zone control
The Alprinta’s color control system, which clearly visualizes the color profile via an easy-to-operate touch screen monitor, is unrivaled. The operator can enter jobs very quickly through the automatic makeready system, which presets the press and eliminates repeated inputting of job data. This reduces waste and significantly shortens makeready times. The Alprinta is prepared for the requirements of the JDF standard and can be fully integrated into the digital workflow.
