3681 Gathering Machine

Flexibility is the key production advantage of the 3681 Gathering Machine. Its agile design makes it universally applicable, allowing it to process the widest range of signature types and combinations. The 3681 Gathering Machine is configured for the high-performance range and achieves a speed of 15,000 or 18,000 cycles per hour, depending on chain pitch.

Flexible loading
The 3681 Gathering Machine can be loaded manually or automatically with Streamfeeders or FlexiRolls. Numerous feeder variants can be used, enabling tremendous flexibility:

  • Flat pile feeder
  • Vertical pile feeder
  • Fold-out signature feeder
  • Sword feeder
  • Card gluer
  • Electrostatic attachment of cards

Integrated quality controls
The quality of the production is continually monitored by the Asir (optical signature type control) and Asac (automatic signature thickness control) systems.
