In the in-line system the Collibri is usually supplemented with a TPM Spine Drying and Pressing Machine which runs with 4,200 cycles/h. The book block is quickly and consistently dried in a 4-meter-long infrared drying section with an air-circulating blower. Repressing of the book block is particularly effective and ensures consistent shaping of the spines.

The format setting is adjusted automatically when the Collibri backgluing machine is set up. Fine adjustments can be made on the control panel while the machine is running production.
