On June 4th and 5th, 2009 Muller Martini will host an open house event at the Bookbinding Academy in Felben, Switzerland, where the new Model 3696 gathering machine will premiere.

This highly flexible gathering machine is rated at up to 12,000 cycles per hour and can process a wide range of products.  One of the key benefits of the 3696 gathering machine is the wide feeder range which allows it to produce cards and specialized materials easily and reliably.  The standard feeders provide a high degree of accuracy when separating signatures and therefore ensure high quality across many different products.
 
A new innovation, the PUR SPN side gluing unit, will also be presented in Felben.  This technology enables coated and laminated covers to be processed into first-class products.  The SPN side gluing unit complements the Muller Martini lineup of PUR adhesive binding products.

Also on hand will be Muller’s Pantera, Acoro, Bolero and Corona lines, so visitors to the Bookbinding Academy can examine the complete range of Muller Martini perfect binders.
