The production process starts with the fully integrated digital, continuous-feed SigmaPress. It prints each book in a single pass as the printing cylinder is continually re-imaged. Industry-standard data formats are used for imaging. Presses of various Muller Martini partner companies can be easily integrated into the SigmaControl system.

The Muller Martini SigmaLine is prepared for integration into all printing systems with automatic web tensioning. In an off-line configuration, it can also process digitally preprinted rolls from printing systems without web tensioning.
