The compact cooling tower, Sigma- Tower, ensures the necessary cooling of the books and drying of the gluein a space saving way, instead of the conveyor belts used in conventional perfect binders. Since the lift systemis cycled, the line control can monitor products accurate to the copy through the cooling tower right to the three-knife trimmer. Sample copies can be withdrawn at an automatic ejection station before the cooling tower in order to inspect the binding quality.
