High performance in-line paper drilling
The automated paper drilling system Duerselen PB.12 in gantry construction is designed especially for in-line operation and is able to process piles of perfect bound books or stitched brochures up to 2 1/2" (60 mm) in height at an output of 1,400 cycles per hour. To meet higher output rates, in order to keep up with today's perfect binders and saddle stitchers, multiple units of PB.12 can be linked by conveyors.
Products move through the machine from front to back underneath the gantry positioned drilling beam, enabling high output on a small footprint. For jobs that do not require drilling the products pass through the PB.12 without the operation taking place. The machine can be disconnected from any line quickly and moved by a pallet truck.
The paper drill Duerselen PB.12 Gantry is suitable for any file hole pattern. It is equippmed with all features of a modern paper drilling system. That includes drill bit cooling and lubrication, the drill belt as drilling supprot with morotrized, programmable transport, continuously variable stork and spindle speed, drill bit breaking snesors and a touch screen for easy programming. |
