High-Profile Visitors from China at the Muller Martini Booth

Eight years ago, Artron and Muller Martini entered into a strategic partnership at drupa. A seven-man delegation from the renowned graphic arts company in Düsseldorf has now gained an impression of Muller Martini's Finishing 4.0 solution.

Three Diamant book lines in the three plants of Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen – two of which with the Colibri backgluing machine – and numerous Ventura thread sewing machines: Artron, which is particularly well-known for its art books, has been one of Muller Martini's key customers in China for many years. Artron still largely prints in offset. "But digital printing is becoming increasingly significant for us," says Xiaobin Wang. "When it comes to print on demand, it's particularly important that the books are complete, that the signature sequence is correct and that the right book reaches the right customer."

For that reason, the General Manager of Artron Art (Group) Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen paid a visit to the Muller Martini booth along with six other representatives of his company. Before the Chinese delegation took a look at the innovative solutions themselves and watched the live shows, Bruno Müller, CEO of Muller Martini, familiarized them with the booth's key topic of Finishing 4.0. The visibly interested guests from China followed the explanations about smart automation, a fully connected machine line-up, variable, industrialized production and a touchless workflow.
