Muller Martini at China Print in Beijing (May 9 to 13) – “The Future is Now”

05/02/2017

At China Print in Beijing from May 9 to 13, Muller Martini will demonstrate live production runs at the Vareo perfect binder and the Primera MC saddle stitcher in Hall E1-002. In addition, visitors to the trade fair will have the chance to see additional Muller Martini systems at customer sites nearby.

“China Print 2017 is the biggest occasion in the Muller Martini Asia Pacific events calendar this year,” says Sven Olsen, Managing Director of the Muller Martini Asia Pacific region. “That’s why we’ll be showcasing two new developments for the first time in Asia under the slogan ‘The Future is Now’.” The first of those two developments is the three-clamp Vareo perfect binder, while the second is the Primera MC saddle stitcher with Motion Control, six flat pile feeders, a folder feeder, and a three-knife trimmer. However, the focus will not just be on those two new machines but also on Muller Martini’s wide range of options for the finishing of print products in the digital and offset segments. “We want to show our customers in Asia how Muller Martini can provide solutions that will benefit their daily production workflow,” says Sven Olsen.

Daily live demos will be performed on the Vareo perfect binder and the Primera MC saddle stitcher at Muller Martini’s booth at China Print.

In addition to the daily demos, including live production of the latest Chinese edition of Muller Martini’s “Panorama” customer magazine at the booth, the emphasis will also be on the presentation of Connex.Info. Trade fair visitors will be able to see for themselves how Muller Martini’s monitoring and reporting system, together with the high degree of automation of the various machines, ensures greater flexibility, shorter make-ready times, and efficient, cost-effective print finishing. At its MMServices island, Muller Martini will show how regular inspections and upgrades can extend the life-cycle of existing equipment.

As an additional service, Muller Martini will provide a shuttle bus throughout the trade fair to the sites of its customers Beijing Shengtong and Beijing CAS. That will allow visitors to take a look behind the scenes of a wide range of saddle stitching, softcover and hardcover production processes and gain an in-depth impression of the advantages of the numerous Muller Martini systems that are in operation by speaking with the customers using them.
