China Print, which opened in Beijing on 9 May, has attracted large numbers of visitors. The live demos of the Vareo perfect binder and the Primera MC saddle stitcher at the Muller Martini booth in Hall E1-002 have proven a hit.

“Our centrally located booth has been very well attended since the trade fair opened,” says Sven Olsen, Managing Director of Muller Martini Asia Pacific. “Visitors are chiefly interested in how they can boost efficiency by increasing automation at their businesses.” The machines showcased by Muller Martini are an excellent illustration of the advantages of highly automated machines. The three-clamp Vareo perfect binder and the Primera MC saddle stitcher with Motion Control, four flat pile feeders, a cover feeder, and a three-knife trimmer are being displayed. Both machines show the wide range of options for the finishing of print products in the digital and offset segments.

On the second day of the show Muller Martini announced a strategic cooperation with Beijing Artron Color Printing Co. related to digital book production, which includes commitment for the first Diamant MC Digital bookline for the Chinese market as well as a Vareo perfect binder system.
