CEWE Invests in Fourth InfiniTrim

Due to its reliability and fully automatic production without set-up times, CEWE has decided to invest in another InfiniTrim trimming robot.

Europe's leading photo service and successful provider of commercial online printing has been relying on the InfiniTrim trimming robot from Muller Martini at several locations for a long time. At drupa, CEWE opted for a further trimming robot, which is used specifically for the production of high-quality full-flat photo books.

Due to the necessary production reliability during the photo book peak season, the availability of the production system is extremely important for CEWE. Another important argument in favor of the InfiniTrim is the fact that no operator intervention is required for the production of different products and formats on the InfiniTrim, which is controlled via the workflow and the printed barcodes.

At the drupa booth, the group of visitors from CEWE was particularly interested in the front trimming option on the InfiniTrim trimming robot on display at the booth. This allows products with flaps to be produced fully automatically and without additional operator intervention.
