HD 143.P Three-Knife Trimmer

The HD 143.P is the ideal three-knife trimmer for use in perfect binding lines, with a capacity of up to 7,000 cycles per hour, and as an upstream machine for book production lines with 30 and 70 cycles per minute. It trims book blocks and brochures reliably and can be used as an individual machine or in production lines with a capacity of 4,200 cuts per hour or 2,700 individual products per hour.

Easy to operate

Sophisticated mechanical systems combined with the latest electronics ensure the shortest setup times, the best product quality and a long machine lifetime. The HD 143.P is easy to operate and offers all the advantages of almost completely automated control thanks to the Copilot® system. Data input and optional belt control occur directly in the three-knife trimmer.

First-class trimming

Book blocks are fed into the machine via a conveyor belt. The intake frequency is controlled via an intermittent drum roller based on the speed of the machine and the size of the block. The trimmed products are gently picked up by the clamp and placed on a conveyor belt.
